After weeks of waiting for Google to add my site to it’s cached index in order to make my site search operational, I switched to MSN because, simply, they did it first.

I don’t know why I waited so long, MSN had my site indexed only a couple days after I submitted it. Maybe it’s because I’ve been sitting steady atop the Google Bandwagon, maybe I have something against Microsoft, I don’t know. I do know that Google uses a certain technology to determine whether a page is “worthy” of being indexed, and my site pretty much has virtually no incoming links to it which is a determining factor (nobody really knows or cares about it, besides me.) But Google claims their mission is to “organize and make available all of the world’s information”. Well my site, as insignificant as it might be, still falls into that category.

So, I’ve gone with MSN search because it works and I like it. I even think the colors are better…
